Half Day Brunei Sightseeing Tour

The tour begins with pick – up from your hotel. Highlights include the Majestic Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, the Royal Regalia Exhibition Hall, the Malay Technology Museum, Brunei Museum, the Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque and a view of the magnificent Istana Nurul Iman, the official residence of His Majesty the Sultan of Negara Brunei Darussalam. Ample photo stops will be made at each of the attractions besides the guided tour. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped at your hotel.

The tour begins with pick – up from your hotel and transfer to the jetty area in the middle of the capital city where you will be taken on a scenic boat ride to the water village on the other side of the river. Well known as the largest water village in the world, water village perched on the Brunei River and home to around 30,000 people. Even four centuries ago, the size and complexity of Brunei water village greatly impressed the Magellan expedition which received a stately welcome upon entering Brunei Bay in 1521. Although, most of the houses on stilts are now furnished with every modern amenity, the tranquillity and serenity of a typical malay water village still linger in the air.

Your tour also include a visit to local a house with traditional refreshments. Your local host will be only too happy to share their life stories with you.

Your tour ends with transfer back to your hotel.

Your tour begins with a scenic drive via the highway to Muara area. Along the way, you can see the scenic countryside of Brunei. We will pass through local residential area, local villages, industrial area and the only Yacht Club in Muara Photo stops by the beach area to capture the distance picturesque image of Muara Industrial Area and islands under the sun. Continue your tour with a drive through a naval base and stop at the old Brunei port where you will be taken on a 10 minutes scenic boat ride to a floating salt water fish farm.

Upon arrival at the fish farm, you will be briefed on the salt water fish farming industry in Brunei and witness fish feeding activity. You can even try your luck with fishing rods but not in the fish pond.

After that, you will transferred back to your hotel.

Your evening fun trip begins with pick – up from your hotel and transfer to Jerudong Park Playground. Discover the child in you and have fun on the various rides available at the playground. The nightly magical fountain show believed to be the best in Asia will definitely take your breath away. Local food stalls and a chic café are available within the park area. At 11:30pm, you will be picked up and transferred back to your hotel with a lot of happy memories.

Full Day Sightseeing Tour with Lunch

The same with tour code PBH01 but after lunch at a local restaurant, you will be taken on a shopping trip to Yayasan shopping complex before being sent back to your hotel.

Your tour starts with pick up from your hotel and proceed on a scenic drive along the highway to Seria Oil town. On the way, we will be passing through the small town of Tutong and a lot of scenic countryside sights of Brunei.

One particular scene that you will notice is the abundance of snowy pure white sand on each side of the highway after passing Tutong town. The journey to Seria Oil town will take around two hours. Oil was discovered here in 1929 and until today, you can still see the nodding donkey which significance the inland oil discovery in the olden days. We will pass through petroleum refinery plant in Seria and visit the Billionth barrel monument at Seria beach. Photo stops at the monument and nodding donkey. Drive around the scenic shell residential area before stopping at a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, proceed back to Bandar Seri Begawan. Before going back to your hotel, you will be taken on a day time tour of Jerudong Park area with photo stops.

Your self discovery fun under the sun begins with pick – ups from your hotel where you will be transferred to a Beach Forest Reserve. There are a lot of nature trails available for you to discover on your own. The secluded and sunny beach area are like your own private playground for you to do whatever you wish under the sun. Public lavatories and showers are available on site. There are plenty of shady areas under the trees for you to escape the hot tropic sun. Just remember to bring along your beach wear and a lot of sun block or tanning lotion.

Temburong National Park Nature Tour

The first national park in Brunei, consists of untouched tropical rain forest and cooling swift water river suitable for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Your nature interlude starts with pick – up from your hotel and transferred to Jalan Residency Jetty in the capital where you will continue your journey in a local water taxi to Bangar town, which will take around 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Bangar town, transfer to Batang Duri where you will be given a briefing on your nature trip and also safety measures to be taken during your nature interlude.

Refreshing morning coffee will be served before continuing your journey to Belalong Wilderness National Park by long boat which will take around one hour scenic cruise.

Upon arrival at the National Park Centre, register and obtain your entry passes from the national park office. Then, proceed on your nature interlude discoveries crossing suspension bridge and canopy walk.

After lunch, depart back to Batang Duri by boat where you can change your wet clothes and after afternoon tea, say good bye to your new friends at Trandie Marina Resort and proceed to Bangar town and continue to Bandar Seri Begawan by water taxi. Upon arrival at the jetty, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 01: Depart for Temburong

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to jetty in the capital where you will continue your journey to Bangar town in a water taxi. Then proceed to Batang Duri for briefing and afternoon tea before continuing to National Park Centre for registration. After settling your belongings in your room, free to explore the nearby jungle area on you own or swim in the river. After dinner, listen to the nature orchestra of Borneo tropical rainforest or go on a night jungle walk which is a truly different experience.

Day 02: Nature Trail – Bandar Seri Begawan

The rain forest comes alive in the early dawn. Stay in bed while listening to a different tune of the rain forest orchestra and for bird lovers, this is the best time to witness the exotic colorful bird’s life of Borneo rainforest.

After breakfast, start your jungle trail by walking to the suspension bridge and experience the new frontier of the rainforest by climbing and walk the canopy walkway. Breath taking view from the top will be your reward. After morning tea, take a walk to waterfalls where you can have a dip in the refreshing water. After lunch and river safety briefing, depart for Batang Duri either by long boat or rafting. After change of clothes and afternoon tea at Batang Duri, proceed to Bangar town and Bandar Seri Begawan.

Upon arrival at the jetty, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Note: Accommodation in the jungle is a basic chalet without air conditioner but electric fan is available. Accommodation with air conditioner at Batang Duri is available as alternative.

Miri Oiltown – The gateway to Mulu and Niah Caves National Park

Miri Oiltown is accessible from Brunei by road. This historical Malaysian oil town where oil was first discovered in 1910 is also the gateway to the world famous Mulu Caves and the historical Niah Caves National Park.

Day 01: Depart for Niah Caves National Park

Pick up from hotel and start your scenic overland journey to Miri Oiltown. The scenic drive will pass through Seria and Kuala Belait town. After immigration and custom clearance check point at Malaysia border, proceed journey on road and experience a short vehicle ferry ride to cross the Kuala Baram River. Then continue to Miri town where a short stop will be made for you to buy some refreshments before proceeding your overland journey to Niah Cave National Park which is located around 109km from Miri. Upon arrival, check in and register at the Park Headquarters. After that, free at own leisure to discover the historical cave or take a nature walk along the various trails available. Tonight, don’t forget to attend the nightly national park video at the video room which will introduce you to the beauty of Borneo tropical rainforest.

Day 02: Self Exploration

A full day to explore the national park on your own. Besides the caves and the numerous jungle trails, you can also visit a typical Iban long house deep in the jungle. The national park staffs will be more than happy to show you the direction.

During the evening, unwind and exchange stories with fellow travellers from all over the world at the park canteen.

Day 03: Depart for Brunei

Free at your own leisure in the morning until pick – up for your overland journey back to Brunei at 2:00pm.

No meal is included in this package as good food are available at reasonable price at the park canteen.

This package include return overland transfers to Niah National Park, accommodation of your choice, park entrance fee and your personal copy of Niah National Park Discovery Guide.

Day 01: Depart for Miri & Mulu

Your tour starts with pick up from your hotel and proceed on an overland transfer to Miri airport. From there, continue your journey by flight to Mulu Caves National Park. The flight will take around 35 minutes. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Royal Mulu Resort.

Free at own leisure to discover the wonder of Mulu National Park.

Day 02: Self Exploration

After breakfast, full day to discover the wonders of Mulu National Park on your own. Sightseeing tours to the show caves and visit to the Penan settlement at Bungan can be arranged at your own expenses with the reception.

Day 03: Depart for Miri Discovery

After breakfast, free at own leisure until transfer to the airport for your flight to Miri. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Rihga Royal hotel in Miri. Free at own leisure to relax by the poolside overlooking the South China Sea. The nite spot at this hotel is also worth your while to check it out.

Day 04: Miri – Brunei

After breakfast, free at own leisure until pick up in the afternoon for your overland transfer back to Brunei.
